Located ~2 miles east of downtown Atlanta, Freedom Park is a 130+ acre linear park.
The park is surrounded by 7 Atlanta neighborhoods: Candler Park, Inman Park, Old Fourth Ward, Poncey-Highland, Virginia Highland, Druid Hills, and Lake Claire.
Full of hiking and biking trails, greenspace, world class artwork, a skate park, and tennis courts, it spans ~2 miles east to west and ~1 mile north to south.
The Carter Center, The Jimmy Carter Center Presidential Library and Museum, and Carter Center Rose Garden sit at the intersection of the park’s 4 legs.
