About the Event
Nature is one of the most beautiful forms of art, and thanks to parks like ours, we can enjoy it for free every day. Through this contest, the board of the Freedom Park Conservancy encourages you to capture a photo of the park – a piece of art, flowers, playgrounds, your family enjoying the park, birds, etc. – and submit it to our contest.
There are four categories – professional, adult hobbyist (19+), teen (13-18), and youth (under 13). Submissions will be accepted June 1, 2026 – August 1, 2026. Winners will be announced on September 1, 2026, to kick off the celebration of the park’s birthday!
The winning photographer in each category will receive a framed print of their image, which will also be displayed for a limited time at the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum.
How to Submit: Email a low-resolution copy of your photo to info@freedompark.org with the subject line Photo Contest Entry. Include your first and last name, category, email address, and photo title in the body of the email.
We look forward to seeing Freedom Park through your eyes.
By submitting a photo to this contest, you consent to Freedom Park Conservancy sharing your photo on their website and/or social media platforms (your name will be credited). While no compensation will be provided, winners will receive one (1) framed print. Winners will retain the copyright to their photo. Winners also consent to Freedom Park Conservancy producing one (1) framed print for use at a future fundraising event directly supporting Freedom Park.
