Art

Designated as Atlanta’s Art Park by the city of Atlanta, Freedom Park is home to numerous temporary and permanent installations of significant art created by artists of international status. In recent years the City, Freedom Park Conservancy, and FLUX Projects have partnered to bring temporary installations to a prominent location in Freedom Park. Most Recently in 2012 the sculpture SEAT was installed by E/B Office, and in 2011 Charlie Brouwer came to town and borrowed ladders from residents around the city to build his sculpture Rise Up Atlanta.
